Much Rejoicings

Avram got a fellowship at Ohio State, which means first year stipend and tuition paid and health insurance subsidy (plus it's usual for the department to provide TA-ships for the remaining years, so basically he has full funding) which means we're heading to Ohio in the fall. I'll post more later, when it's not late at night here and Lydia isn't competing with me for the computer. Thanks for all of the prayers and good thoughts in his behalf. We've decided that the Lord must want us in Ohio! So Columbus here we come!

  1. Yaaaaaaay!!!
Your telephone message made my day. I can't wait to tell Samuel!
Ohio is really a lovely place. I've considered living there with our family in the future, after school and everything. The only thing I don't like about it is that their homeschool laws are really intrusive, so much so that they almost defeat the purpose of homeschooling. But maybe we can get around it somehow, or live in a nearby state....

Hallelujah! Avram, you totally rock my world! You are the bomb, man! I am so happy for you guys!

So how easy is it for me to get to Ohio? Hm . . . three hours from the airport in Pittsburgh. Not bad.

  3. I feel great happiness for you. Ohio was a place of refuge for the saints where they raised a house of learning.
I am glad to have you both return to the states and hope to come visit you in Ohio.

  4. Congrats guys! This is where the Lord wants you to be :)
